Very nice. I'm a fan of her work but don't own any of her pipes. I had my eye on the Nanna Ivarsson designed Stanwells when they first came out but regetibly never bought one.

Yup, nice pipe, for sure. I've only got this one blast by her. Price-wise, it would be hard to really collect her pipes, but I'd certainly buy another, if the right pipe came along at the right price.
She's one of the most popular carvers in the world. No way can I afford one. She carves pieces that are simply stunning.
That pipe is sweet. I really like her work and maybe one day I will pull the trigger for one. Once my oldest daughter graduates law school and 2 more of my other kids graduate college then all bets are off and I will be able to buy whatever I want. My oldest son graduated a private art school with a degree in graphic arts around 8 years ago and that place was expensive. I will be able to say that all 4 of my kids graduated school with no debt. Yeah I could buy all the Nanna's and Jess's and tons of other names but I get more joy giving them a head start in life. For now I will smoke my Jack Howell artisan pipes, my Rad Davis pipes, my Brian Ruthenbergs a few Bruce Weavers and some other American artisan pipes. They are all sand blasted pipes and they smoke great in my opinion. That Nana though is a looker. How does it smoke compared to your top of the line Castello's?
It smokes amazing, it's very smooth, didn't get too hot and it's not too heavy when I clench. My daughter is starting college in September and I have 2 cats that I call my kids too ??? so yes I know what you mean about expenses...

That is cool. I live in Florida and my kids are going to schools around here as well. The only one not here is my oldest daughter who is in law school, she is in Virginia. My kids like being near home as well. I don't mind as I get to see them all the time.

I've been to the Island in Toronto, except I went in March, when it was raw and blustery, but I enjoyed a good walk around the closed amusement park and past the yacht club, also enjoying the free boat ride there and back. There are working folks homes out there, a little community, and the houses are cherished and passed from one generation to the next, prime real estate for working folks. I liked Toronto, on a couple of business trips, where I could get Cuban cigars I couldn't buy in the U.S.
I always go in the summer with my daughter since she was little. And the day of this picnic she was the one who took the pictures of me smoking ?
