as you are now the resident IMCO lighter expert, I'd appreciate your knowledge.
I spotted an IMCO 6700, with 5 stars, listed as: NEW IMCO 6700 TRIPLEX SUPER PETROL LIGHTER VINTAGE TRENCH LIGHTER 6800 5-stars.

Is this a newer version of the 6700?

I’ve heard that the ones with the 5 stars down the spine are Chinese copies. They usually say ‘Come Of Austria’ on the bottom. The 6800 is the Streamline version you bought.

6800 - Streamline.

I use the Kiribi flints. They are softer than the zippos. I also use them in my Peterson.
