I just bought this 1998 Ashton sandblast Dublin today on the auction site. It’s fairly tall at 2.13 in. I love the look of it.

It’s a shape they did so well! I love their stout Dublins. Great find.

I love the whole Bill Taylor lore and I want to add more to it tonight.
(Sorry if I already mentioned this in another thread) So apparently Mr Taylor might have put a couple of dunhill pipes in his pockets on his way out and he sold two of those to a friend of mine in 1993. He was in Germany at a tobacconist event and he stamped the pipes in the shop for the lucky customers. On the photos you can see faint dunhill stamps on both the Sovereign and the Pebble. Additionally i have seen quite a lot of inconsistency in the size stamps, so i have added a couple of screenshot of my private conversation with my pal, that might give some clarity on those.
