Came across this BBK Billiard in a junk store in western NC last year. Just did a cleanup rather than full-on restoration. What silver plating is left is a bit pitted, but still polished up OK. Last pic shows someone scraped the inside of the lid with a sharp point. Any suggestions on smoothing that out? I hesitated to try a fine steel wool or sandpaper because I didn't want to remove what's left of the silver plate, but can't think of anything else.
