Now that I have your attention, and PLEASE no shirtless old guy pics! I have amassed a decent amount of tins and mason jars. I would like to organize these in a way that is both functional and tasteful. Planning to sit it in my office for a conversation piece and mainly for me to admire all day at work. :col:

Please send me some ideas of either commercially built units or custom ones that I could compare and choose from.

I did a search for an archived thread. If I missed it, my apologies.

You want a piece of furniture to display your cellar? Just buy a nice glass front shelving unit with interior lights for showing off the contents.
I’m also looking to keep the tins organized with their face pointing outwards or at least part of the labels showing for both organization and looks. Trying not to just stack them in rows.

Still recommend the same option. That's what vertical display cases are for. The question is one of how many shelves and how wide. Have you done a test by taking the tins and stacking them in a manner that you prefer and taking measurements? Do the same thing with the jars. Then you have an idea of the proportions needed.

Ok I’m following now. Let me use that theory and work on some possible designs. Thanks!

I'm not home to take a picture, but I had posted these on here a while back when I first got my current tobacco cabinet. It looks the same now, but with more tobacco on the shelves! The pipe stand on top is a Neal Yarm.

You can't go wrong with a classic lawyer/barrister bookcase.

Damn that is a beautiful Brebbia collection. What line is that from? Are they filtered?
