I listen to the shows in the car,usually on the Saturday following the original broadcast. Consequently, shows get 'backed up' in my brain so I don't know the exact episode my comment is related to but here goes.
Brian discussed and/or mentioned reverse calabash designed pipes and asked for thoughts about the design. I recently purchased an Aero Billiard from Neatpipes (my first of this design) and am quite impressed with the way it performs. I've always liked chubby pipes but they have had a tendency to smoke hot. Not referring to temperature of the pipe, but the smoke. Not so with this design. It smokes nice and cool, regardless the blend I put into it.
The feeling of it in the hand and on the lips is extraordinary. Comfortable and, dare I say, sensual. It's become one of my favorite pipes in a very short time.
