BB, your doing very well for such a short time in your new hobby. And also making your own stems already..... Very nice.
I use delrin in all my stems, even the premade blanks, it works well and is great if you don't have a lathe for turning your own tenons.

Smokindawg, Yes I just started making my own stems for the last few pipes I have made. I still have some things to get down, especially button work, but all in due time I suppose. And yes, I love delrin for tennons, it has made a huge difference for my pipes. I really need a lathe, but the delrin helps tons.
