Shane MacGowan Dies 🙁

Lead singer and songwriter for The Pogues has died aged 65. I knew he wasn't well but the last thing I read said he hoped to get out of hospital by Christmas. He did look very ill in the photos, though.

He'll be much missed by a great many people, not least his good mate Johnny Depp.

Yeah, all that hard living finally caught up with him. Like you said, it didn't really come as a shock. Sad news, though.

I saw them play back at a bar back in college in the 80's. I hadn't realized that they were still producing music.
