I don't know anything about this pipe. It says Shalom on one side and I think it says Century of Mediterranean Briar on the other. I believe it's made in Israel.

There is a little pipe industry in that part of the Mediterranean. Alpha pipes were made in Israel and distributed through Tinder Box franchises. I bought one in the mid 90's.
According to pipepedia, Alpha was a mark out of the Shalom pipe factory. So, same place different branding.

I know this is an old post, but I wanted to add a few notes. The Shalom factory out of Israel produced some fine pipes mid-Century. This pipe was likely made 1940s-50s, when Robert L. Marx (USA) over saw some of the design and production at Shalom during that time. It likely predates the Alpha line (also made at Shalom).
