Second Pipe is Cleaned and Loaded to Smoke

The second $1.00 pipe I bought the other day is now cleaned up and loaded with Macbarrens Mixture. It is a nice little Pot, with a Brand name of London Turf, which I can find no info on. However, it is a super great smoke. I can only assume it is a Basket Pipe and has no business performing as well as it does.

Nice transformation, fisher. A well spent $1 and some TLC and you have a nice little treasure. Kind of looking forward to trying my hand at this soon; need to hit some yard sales and antique shops for a candidate!

Funny how they do that sometimes. It's like no one told them they are supposed to suck.

did you apply salt & alcohol?

No mate. Bowl didn't need alochol and salt. Reamed bowl and cleaned out with paper towel and alochol, scrubbed shank with alochol and brush. Alochol in bowl and shank and burned it out. Cleaned stem properly.

The fact that it smokes great makes it an amazing deal. Nice going.
