Yes, Plum Pudding was the first English tobacco blend I tried after starting with aromatics. I think it's great.

I have also tried the other two SPC blends; Mississippi River and Seattle Evening. I like all three blends, but I think Plum Pudding has the grater variety of flavors in it.
I don't have the experience to compare it to any other brands, but if you like the earthy smokey flavor of the latakia, you shouldn't be disappointed. I smoke 1Q a lot, and the SPC blends make a nice contrast when I'm not in the mood for an aromatic.
Hope you enjoy it. I'll be interested in hearing your impressions.

just got mine this week, and it is indeed a cool, slow burning and flavorful smoke. The first 20 puffs are intense with flavor, and it quickly mellows out. It is in my top 10 for sure.

I am putting finishing touches on my TAD order. Had to cut back a little on the list, as I went a little crazy, plus I was fortunate enough to snare a bag of StoneHaven and another bag of Penzance. Been wanting to try Plum Pudding for a while now. Also going to try a tin or two of Meridian.

Plum Pudding Rocks! I enjoy this blend every couple of weeks when I want a Latakia blend with a little extra something. Hmmm sounds like the label description...

Anyway - when I get home from work this will be in my bowl at some point.

Penzance is good stuff. I have not opened my plum pudding yet. That comment about it being better than penzance may have just caused me to open the tin.

I traded for some Mississippi River last week, and it's evident that Joe Lankford knows what he's doing. It's a bit milder than the Plum Pudding and is an interesting variant but still in the same general range of flavors.
