Had some tonight, and must say it was pretty good. Although it was hard to keep lit, than the Dunill & Capt Black that I've smoked. My buddy said it was an English blend, and they tend to be more "moist" than other blends. Either way it was pretty good, gonna order a tin here soon. Anyone else smoke this before?

Many times. I have been cube cutting and using the leftover scraps for kindling. I find it especially good in a pot style billiard with a wide, shallow bowl.

LOVE IT! Definitely in my top 10. If you cube it (as rigmedic suggests), let it dry for half an hour and gravity fill your pipe, you'll be rewarded with a wonderfully satisfying, complex blend, at least that's how it works for me... -Jason

cube cutting is taking the flake and cutting across and it turns into little bits, then you simply put it in the pipe which is letting gravity fill, as in don't push it down I believe. It's a no brainer way to pack a pipe if you aren't good with packing.

Hi Mike,

Welcome aboard.

Cube it is to literally cut it into tiny cubes with scissors or a knife.

Gravity fill is to sprinkle the cubes into your bowl without tamping it down.

the cubes nestle pretty tight on their own. You can also tap the bowl to make

the cubes pack tighter.
Cheers,

Rick
