If anyone can help with a name or a picture or anything I will love you!!!
I collect Ropp pipes, but not briar. I love the history of Ropp's Cherrywood series and any other of their odder/older pipes. I found a picture years ago of a multiple colored pipe, it was a multi layered composite bowl with a meerschaum insert. From what I can tell it was made by layering plywood(or a stronger equivalent) with colored sheet in between. the block is then carved into a pipe and given a meerschaum insert to protect the glued together bowl.
I haven't been able to find a picture in years let alone a listing. If anyone has one, or even has a picture would love some proof that this wasn't my imagination!
