The quality of a pipe is the one you present. And that will remains in the eyes and in mind of everybody see your works. For that reason the best way is to present the work when the carving process/learning is complete. What you present will be your "status" forever for the guys in the place where you share them.Hope you'll understand what i mean.Your works they promise a future better quality.Offering these pipes at for example 65 bucks could be a problem because for the same price you could buy a perfect machined pipe and at the same time when the carving learning/process will be completed you'll be unable to ask for undreads of bucks as your "status" was made before.Hand made pipes cost a lot when quality is at the top otherwise better buy a machined one

Please if my english is not understandable, tell me, because i whould like to help you, not to offend, my friend

drillings must be perfectly done, also with a drill-press it's necessary to use a lot of precision virtually impossible with an hand drill.Chamber drill must be done with an arrowhead tip to get it conical. The shank must be drilled at the center of the bore chanber and hole must be done at the same level of the bottom of chamber, not lightly under and not over.Otherwise pipe don't smokes well enough

graci Maurizio-I have sent some of my hand-drilled pipes on to master pipe makers, needless to say they are very critical of everything and have made such comments as "drill'in is perfect, how do you do that with a hand-drill & that my pipes smoked just as well as any other pipe they have smoked" perhaps the luck of the pipe gods and not all the time, nothing beats the precision of bench equip for that I agree with my friend and I hope they are going to arrive asap. Thank you for all the support and help :puffy:
