I have a plastic milk carton nearly full of little tins of fancy, expensive tobaccos, plus I have more stashed in my garage and office desks and in campers at my farm. Nothing makes a man feel more privileged than firing up a pipe with tobacco that costs as much as $8.50 an ounce retail.
For the last couple of days I’ve been enjoying some Dunhill Royal Yacht that I forget how old the tin is. It’s Made in Denmark so it’s not ancient.
But I’d appreciate some schooling on how to put a date to old tins of fancy tobacco.
I suppose I need to use a magic marker to date new tins, but I have a bunch of old ones, that I can’t figure out when they were made.
Any help would be much appreciated
