Savinelli St. Nicholas - 2023 :: Pipe Talk
I noticed this years Xmas design was revealed. I've never owned one, but I'm a sucker for blue stems. Thoughts on the colors chosen this year?

Not a huge fan of the blue stem. A swirled red and white stem would be up my alley.
It doesn't feel very St. Nicholas-y. But the bowl having a reddish tinge to it, sort of makes up for it. Maybe they should have added wisps of green to the blue and it could have been a "Northern Lights" kind of thing.
But still, a nice looking pipe.

Last years screamed Christmas to me, this one, not so much.
The blue does fit the winter vibe more, but I don’t think of Christmas when I see that.
Think this one will be an easy pass but I’m honestly just taking myself out of it because I have to stop buying new pipes

That is a beautiful pipe. In the right shape those colors will work nicely. Not necessarily screaming Christmas to me, but it is a pretty pipe I wouldn't mind having.

I like the blue stem and the white band. More of a winter wonderland pipe, not so much Christmas.
Not really my cup of tea. I'll wait to see what peterson come up with.
