The Savinelli that I decided to get in another thread has arrived. I am smoking it, half a smoke to be precise. It is excellent for a first smoke of a pipe with an uncoated bowl. No regrets, the taste of the stain is OK. If the empty chamber where the filter was does not become a cleaning problem, I will add Savinelli to the very short approved list here. Beautifully finished too. Will try to get some pictures this weekend, if the lazy Canon agrees to function.
