i’ve been looking into getting one of these. for the people who own one, what do you think of it? Also how long does a bowl last in this pipe?

It was fine. 36 minutes.

It's a solid pipe, and quite light so it can be clenched. It has a decent size bowl so depending on the type of tobacco you are smoking, shag, ribbon, coins, flake, etc, could be anywhere between 30 mins and 1 hr+.

I'm a slow smoker so I generally get 45+ minutes out of mine. It's a great pipe. I bought mine when the shape was new and it's never let me down.

I agree with the times above 40+ min. I really enjoy mine also.

In one way it is superior to the Merchant Service make. I has a stronger shaft. The Merchant Service is a true pencil thin pipe stem and easily breaks.

I like mine, but no way on the 40 minute bowls. It's a rather small chamber and for me it's more like 10 minutes.

It’s the only Savinelli I kept when I thinned the herd years back. For me it’s between 45-75mins depending on the blend. Typically flakes are on the longer end.
