Very nice Don. How old? Old, pre-war. The Patent 1513428 is the 1924 U.S. Patent. If you really want to get in the weeds, and the pipe still has the hardware, you can compare it to drawings linked in one of misterlowercase's posts from 4 years ago.

No, mid 1920's. Tony S. told me he had a 1924~25 catalog showing both the Four Dots, and the Town names. I believe jguss has some information on this also.
