This one was listed and sold in the Buy/Sell/Trade section, but it was unique enough that I thought it deserved it's own thread. Sasieni has a number of 2nds lines but this was the first "Sashar" that I encountered. Google shows they are sprinkled throughout the web, but I'd say certainly the least visible Sasieni 2nds line. It was purchased by a forum member.
The rustication was very unique. It was as appealing but completely different than the Four Dot "Rustic" carved finish. I typically don't care for 2nd's line offerings because the stems are often sub-par (Comoys Everyman, etc.) But this stem, button, tenon, fitment was really appealing.
The shape is similar to the Viscount Lascelles, but on a slightly smaller scale.

dmcmtk wrote this about the pipe when it was for sale:
This is just a guess, but I think it's an early post-war pipe, because at some point (late '50's - early '60's), shape number 59 is given to the Lombard, a straight pot. Unfortunately, the 1930's catalog I want to look at is not available, however I seem to remember another bent billiard shape in addition to the Viscount Lascelles and the Regent...
