This is one of the most flavorful smokes I've had. It's my first navy flake and from what I understand the rum is what makes it navy but its very much in the background in this smoke. I see people mentioning that latakia isn't common in a navy but this is far from latakia heavy.
I'm curious what others here think of it (I've seen Kevin's review) and how it compares to other navy flakes. Are they all this delicious and what are the differences?

This was the first "Navy" blend I tried and I enjoy it so much, that I have yet to try any others. As you say, it really is full of wonderful flavours.

The only Navy blend I've tried is Cornell&Diehl's Blockade Runner. I've been meaning to get around to the many Navy flakes available on the market. Blockade Runner is a crumble cake so the presentation is a bit different, and it doesn't contain latakia. I think its darn tasty, but you can't sit back and say "impress me!" Its a blend you need to give some attention to.
There are a lot of Navy blends out there, I say give em all a try 8)
