Ryan Alden aka Lonestar --- Big Black Badass Blasted Billiard

Last week I happened to look at Ryan Alden's site.
I saw something that made my jaw drop.
It was a big black badass blasted billiard.
And it was available.
I had to get it.
I got it.
It has arrived in my hands and I must say that my brains are blasted from this pipe!
Not only are the proportions spot on the sweet spot, but the tactile qualities are off the charts.
It exudes a rugged elegance.
I usually don't care for shank adornments, but the way Ryan did it was eye candy of the highest order, and I usually prefer my blasts to not have smooth rims, but again Ryan made it look irresistible with a dark stain and slight slant like an easy-fill style --- both these elements in conjunction work together to add a pop that just trips my trigger.
It's a rather chunky pipe, like a Dunhill LB or 127,

but it only weighs 43g.
Did I mention the blast quality?

To say I'm happy is an understatement,

I am ecstatic!
I can't wait to smoke this thing!
I find it difficult to photograph pipes well, it's just so damn hard to get 'em to come out right, and pix never seem to be able to convey the full majesty, but I still try.

Troy, man I love your closeup shots. When you do a set of photos, its always a little adventure to follow the post.

I spent a LOT of time staring at this pipe the whole way through the process, and you've managed to find angles and closeups I don't even recognize :D
