Rustic English 457 History

Hello, I'm new to the pipes magazine forum. My son bought me an English Rustic 457 pipe from an antique dealer for Christmas, it's a pipe that I will clean up and use. Can anyone please tell me the history of this pipe, the manufacturing and when they ceased production? I'd love to know a little bit more about the English Rustic brand. Ken

Here's the Rustic English 457 after my first pipe restoration. The bowl was cleaned externally, then reamed and sterilized with alcohol and cotton balls. The outside was enhanced with Decatur no buff wax and Decatur polish cloth. The stem was sterilized with alcohol outside and then inside with pipe cleaners (with alcohol) and finally shined with stem polish. Ready to smoke.

"Who Made that Pipe" shows the brand, but maker unknown. Likely a shop wall/basket pipe, but a good one from your photos.
