yroc: It's just below Rule 8. Right there on the first page of the forum. Last listing in the "orange section" labeled "Latest Discussions." It is suggested reading for new members.
Moses: Are you gonna name names? Or make us guess? I find it best to just reply to an irritating post and point out the violation.
Most likely hakchuma's drug screening post without the caps in the title. Possibly farmer's post.
By golly, the more I look the more I see Rule ( ignored. Kevin's not gonna be happy, the mods are falling down on the job.
IT'S A FREAKING EPIDEMIC1 AND IT'S GOTTA STOP. Crap! I'm yelling now and isn't gonna go down well with the mods either.
I would guess it is a rule unless the mods don't catch it, then it is more a soft suggestion. Just do what you need to do and things will take care of themselves.
Not any one post or person, just observing a trend toward a general disregard of this one. At least the part about capitalizing topics. I'll be the first to admit this is a minor gripe, but darn it, we can do it! As a family.
I'm done policing! No profit in it and damned little enjoyment anymore. Also, punctuation is the easy part. There are some tough calls to make. I'd much rather be the itch that sometimes needs scratching.
It's really not bad here. On some forums you'd think they were speaking a foreign language. I see Kevin jump in every once in a while with "thread title corrected", just as a pleasant reminder.
E. E. would most likely get a pass. He capitalized his initials, others liked the e. e. or even "e e" due to his writing style. I have no idea if he was agreeable or not.
