Not dissing this superb blend at all.
What did Ernie do to make this such a unique and amazingly tasty blend?
I have enjoyed a good number of blends with similar constituent tobaccos, but none are close at all.
This is a home run in the bottom of the ninth!
It took Ernie and me four or was it five tries to get the version you smoke. We ended up with my formula plus an important tweak that Ernie did. That's all I can say.

That squashed tomato pipe is very special to me as it was made for me. Several people have tried to buy it from, but I wouldn't sell it for love or money. Basil Meadows refused to make another one because he wanted me to have the only one. I told him that I didn't care if he made more, but that pipe was/is special to him, too.

I thought I was going to be paying for it, but Basil gave it to me. I said, "I was supposed to buy it. Why are you giving it to me?"

He said, "It's your birthday present."

I said, "My birthday isn't in June, it's in November."

He said, "It's an early birthday present." rotf
