I know this is a pipe forum, but I am sure we have a few cigar smokers on here as well. I am going to my local tobacconist tomorrow and I will be picking up some pipe tobacco, as well as some cigars. I have my eyes on the Romeo and Juliet mini cigars. They come in tins of 20 and they are a quick/affordable smoke. Have any of you tried these before? If so, what are your thoughts?

I smoked often the Romeo y Julieta and the Cohiba mini cigars.

Compared to other mini cigars, they are better. Deeper, more cigar-like taste. But that's comparing to other mini-cigar brands.
Compared to almost any regular cigar available, they are inferior. Very inferior. This mini cigars are made with the crumbles of the regular production, and they are closer to a cigarette than a cigar. As a matter of fact, rolled in paper, they are available as cigarette. I even consider some roll-yourself tobacco better than these.
If you are a cigarette smoker, smoking this is a slight increase in your smoke quality. If you are a cigar smoker, this is a many step down the quality of your smoking.

This would be a great question for the sister site http://cigarchronicles.com/
But, since there are only a couple of us there, I'll take a stab at it.
The Romeo Juletta minis are a decent short smoke, just about every major cigar manufacture has a mini line.

I personally like the Fuente minis better, if you are an Aeromatic fan try the CAO minis.

If you could post this over there Stan the Man, could steer you to more specific blends, he is the cigar genius!

Hope this helps a little
Tom

Many of the big names make mini's. Romeo y Julieta are good. I like the Partigas mini's but more often I just smoke my usual toro size cigar and use a Cigar Savor when I can't finish it in one sitting. Been using one for years.
