I've seen a few pipes on ebay stamped "RMV" and "Nutley N.J." on them. One seller says they were carved by a tobacco store owner in that New Jersey city. He got his briar from Spain and sold his pipes out of that store. I can't find anything via Google to substantiate that information.
Anyway, I saw one I liked and won it unopposed.
Not exactly a masterpiece, but I like the square lines and the gold band.
