Not one of my favourite bands, but as you said Jay, it's sad to see another old school face go.

Way back in the 1980's I rushed out to buy Hawkwind's latest album 'Church of Hawkwind' and rushed home to play it.

Imagine my disappointment when I realised that side 1 was indeed Hawkwind but side 2 was Whitesnake!

I was livid and jumped back on the bus to take it back for exchange. I often wonder how much that record would be worth now .

there are two kinds of bands I don't like. Ones that I just think suck, and ones that just don't do it for me. Whitesnake was in the latter group. I could respect their work and talents.
