so I'm smoking my way through my new corncobs, on of them has a fairly large gap around around the top of the join between stem and bowl(both light and smoke go through) can I pack this with pipemud to fix it or should I just scrap this particular pipe and be content with the other nine from the bag?

honestly I considered wood putty its a crescent moon shaped gap approximatly a 1/4 inch at the widest point. Like I said it's a factory second MM from a grab bag so honestly I'll probably just throw it away and enjoy the rest of the bag since so far their all good smokers

Yeah, I would have said just use wood glue or good ol' Elmer's white glue, but 1/4 inch is a HUGE gap!!
