Repaired Hilson Pipe

I received this Hilson Pipe and upon inspection it looks as if at some point in time someone did a shank repair. Only part of the 'Hilson" stamping remains. I'd like to find out exactly which line of Hilson this pipe might be. Also, is this called a brandy shape. Thanks.

I do believe it is a brandy shape, as it is close to my Tsuge. Though I'm no expert on shapes. Very nice looking pipe, hard to tell its been repaired. Whoever did it did a good job. Congrats and Enjoy

I have some interest in the repair band. I have a GBD Virgin Conquest with the same band(mine was added for looks). I did find out that the "SJV" means "San Jose Vein" which is a higher quality vein of silver discovered in Mexico. Not the maker. But that is all I found.

Nice pipe.

It looks like a i had Hilson Grand Luxe I gifted it to my uncle it didn't have the silver ring tho

I like it with the silver. It gives the bowl and stem some contrast.

The band on this one looks to be brass but shines up like gold. I'm not sure which it is but definitely not silver.
