My wife had a medical treatment and wanted to go to an Asian restaurant on The District and I had a smoke outside.

I looked that up.

I’m older than Asian food and light beer and light soda pop.

I’m even older than when The Beatles went on Ed Sullivan.

My grandfather dried out his chaw cuds in a Folger’s can and smoked them, but this is too much, I think.

This is somehow a threat to my way of life, but I can’t pinpoint how.:)

The do gooders are up to this, to keep The District pretty, I guess.

Nothing worse than smelling an ashtray of cigarette butts burning and smoldering outside, those things with a long neck and a bowl at the bottom, just empty or replace them that is your job

Good to see they're atleast still putting out ashtrays.

Around here there aren't many ashtrays... Fine by me, I'll just drop the cigarette butt right in front of the damn door.

Maybe I'm an asshole... But I won't negotiate with the guy who thought he could stop me from smoking by removing the ashtray.

My parents were both cigarette-smokers when I was a lad and the first thing that they did when we went anywhere in the family car was they both lit-up. Every so often one of them would light the wrong end of a Kent or Salem, much to the merriment and delight of us children! :(

I think the reason colored filters were devised was to avoid just that. Nevertheless, when I smoked Marlboros back in the day, I still found myself lighting the wrong end on occasion.
