I can't praise the My Weigh Titan T3 enough. It is good to the 0.X of a gram. If you need something with a greater degree of accuracy, look at small balance scales used for diamonds - the non-digital ones are quite affordable and fairly accurate. For larger quantities, a cheap digital kitchen scale should suffice.

If you want to get into the weeds on accuracy, consider also purchasing some weights in 0.1, 1 and 5g masses. That way, if you trust them to be true to weight, you can calibrate your scale by noting any discrepancies between the amount of weight you have on the scale and what the display shows. My T3 shows to be accurate when calibrated using this method.

Bed, Bath & Beyond has a number of low-priced options, we'll grab one occasionally for emergency restaurant use, so I've found they all work generally well. I've had one for about five years, ($20 from memory), zero issues.
They should all change from ounces to grams - I like to weigh my pipes in grams. Packages going out, ounces.

And this is to be used for gunpowder? or yourself?... Scales for different needs... say for around 200 grams or thereabouts a cheap $20 digital works fine for many years... for precision a scale can be from hundreds to the sky. For weighing a pipe, tobacco, or yourself, who cares how accurate, for weighing a charge for a cartridge...you better care.

I would say for your use, a look at Amazon or the like, a digital that has the capacity you think you need should be from 10 to 30 bucks, buy a spare battery, your done.

Yep, don't blow theyself up.
He does mention blending, in a subsequent reply. So, while flammable, not potentially dangerous.

I suggest the midrange to cheapest scale possible, because... if you are just blending tobaccos, you really don't need pennyweight accuracy. Take into consideration that some of your components may have little more water than when you blended with it last or vice versa. And, even the pros take into consideration that one batch of Virginias may be a tad sweeter than last time or an oriental might be a tad more/less pungent, so you may want a smidge more or less to make up for these natural inconsistencies.
When I cook, make wine, or blend tobaccos, I taste, judge, and access... a pinch less of this or maybe a little more of that.

There's just really no need for that sort of accuracy. Even if you did blend down to the pennyweight, you might not get the same results.

However, I really dig your picture responses above. puffy

Cosmic - always sage, sane, and sensible advice coming forth from your teepee of tabaky terrificness ; thank you my friend.

I am experimentally blending in only little one bowl quantities while trying to rough-out what works, and what does not; while wasting as little tabak as possible - e.g.: having to smoke thru the immediately obvious failures and palate punishers - and, trying to retain the proportions for larger 1 ounce quantities for further evaluation of the experiments that hint at success; hence, the need for the 1/10th gram tolerance; at this stage. - Sherm Natman
