William's Estate Briar Pipes
I've bought several pipes off of William, and found him to be a congenial, easygoing and honest guy. He accepts PayPal, ships quickly, packs well, and answers email in a timely manner. And he has a lot of pipes. The photos could be more complete and higher res, but he'll make some more pix of a particular pipe if you need to see more.
Now, try to buy just one...bet you can't do it!

I don't think I'd ever anger a man named William Krogh Lundsgaard. I can imagine someone named that pulling a broadsword and trying to take my head. lol. He has a couple interesting looking Nordings on his site, I see. I'll have to see what else he has.
Edit: ok... I've been checking out the site for a while now. It's a Danish pipe lovers dream. I've seen some beautiful pipes. Does anyone else have any experience with doing business with him?

Thanks for the thread Woodsroad et al, I had been impressed with his range of pipes and good prices but put off by the lack of info about his site elsewhere. Good to know he's legit, will definitely consider him in the future.

He is a complete gentleman, who I would have no hesitation in recommending. His pipes are all is top order and very keenly priced.

I too have bought pipes from Wil, the best being my Ann Julie and my Brakner Antique Sitter Poker and he's always a delight to work with.

I agree completely, he's a great guy indeed. I got some pretty rare Stannies from him and he's got a wide selection of all sorts, and yes, it's difficult to buy just one, I ended up getting multiple pipes on several occasions...

As others have testified to, he's great to deal with, a real mensch as my people say.

He's not too far from my brother-in-law, so I hope to meet up with him some day soon.

With the exception of some "specials" and he'll let you know. I recently bought 4 pipes from Wil that were "2 for 20 Euro Pipes" specials. Ungraded, uncleaned, 2 pipes for 20 Euros. I ended up with 2 Stanwells and 2 I don't remember whats, all 4 good pipes.

Call me spoiled but when I look for estate pipes, I want a multitude of high res pictures and lots of descriptions i,e weights, bowl depth, bowl width, bowl height. Plus I want to know what kind of shape the pipe is in. I am way too lazy to email,ask for more pics, ask for more descriptions on every pipe I may be interested in. There are just too many other online dealers who give me what I am looking for as soon as I click on the pipe. I hear that he is a nice guy and easy to do business with which is a plus. I am not trying to be mean or disrespectful, I am just offering some constructive criticism because as a buyer of estate pipes these are the things that are important to me and draw me to a site. I think he would get a lot more business if he took the time to look at how his competitors have their sites set up and made some changes.

Harris, I agree completely. Better and more photos and info would be good for the buyer AND the seller. That said, he has some very nice pipes and good prices, and with just a little friendly leg work, they can be yours. Or they can be someone else's.

I have known Wil for a few years and we have done a substantial amount of business together.
His pricing is honest, maybe a tad on the high side but one can barter with him. I have gotten some incredible pieces from him, an Anne Julie, a few Taos and some other gems.
As far as I am concerned he is 100% reliable and stands behind what he sells. He ships when he say that he will.
As a novelty, try a pair or two of his wife's hand knit socks. They are superb!
