After completing the medical weeks from hell I'm finally back. The normal day to day stuff went as anticipated but leaving me somewhat drained.
I did some Mad Hatter Magical Mixology with some 10 y/o Nat Sherman, Tobac Sherman, Housatonic Mixture. I was sent this tobacco by a friend and bamboo rod maker who favors corn cobs and this tobacco. Doing a bit of research I found Tobac Sherman now numbers their tobacco mixtures so I could not find any reviews of it. My own experience with it was I found it too sweet even in my well seasoned 8 y/o MM Diplomat with Plum Forever Stem.
I took equal parts of the Housatonic Mixture and blended it with Daughters and Ryan Windsail and tested it after 24 hours and found it quite pleasing. At 48 hours it was a wonderfully creamy smoke with citrus notes subduing the sweetness, I have knighted this tobacco The winds of the Housatonic.
I also was smitten by yet another Il Duca creation, this freehand Dublin with amber colored stem with Spalted Tamarind stem adornment, it is a "B" - Barone - Sabbiata DDD Grade.

It's not Banjo's rare blend, but I enjoy Nat Sherman's 536 very much. That's a great pipe.
