Evening (or morning) all.
I spent a few years on pipe forums (and Usenet and email lists back when those were still a thing), but have been smoking off and on "offline" since then. Had to register a new username, and will look forward to getting to know everyone in the coming days, weeks, months.
I'm a sporadic smoker, and have varied from a max of 6-8 bowls/day when I was working from home 100% to times when I went months without smoking a pipe at all. I gave up cigarettes in 2005, and have dipped Copenhagen as a substitute ever since. I enjoy cigars as a social thing, and have a humidor of about 200 Cubans that I mostly share with friends. My real love, though is pipe smoking.
I have decided to give up snuff/dip, am planning to smoke a pipe throughout the rest of the time the good Lord allows me here, and with the recent (to me) news of Dunhill exiting the pipe tobacco business and the FDA cracking down, I've decided I should store a reasonable cellar for future insurance, aging, and price hedging.
Buy what you like is obvious, but since money and space are not a major concern to me (ok, no ridiculous responses - don't overreact!) I wonder if there are particular "at-risk" tobaccos you all think I'd be dumb not to buy and store. I live in a state that already bans alcohol shipments (wine clubs are a real challenge for me), so tobacco may not be far behind even if the FDA does nothing. I'm also in a very conservative and tobacco unfriendly state with no real B&M options available excepting 1 Tinder Box 40 miles away.
So with that as background, I'll post my current cellar and ask if there's anything obvious you think I'm missing. Also, happy to answer any friendly get to know you questions. Thanks for reading, and thanks in advance for your suggestions!

I'm a huge Dunhill fan. That stated, are there other Dunhills you like? For me, London Mixture, 965, Nightcap, Elizabethan, Royal Yacht, The Aperitif and BB1938 are a must. In non-Dunhill things I'm a fan of, and I believe the FDA laws would effect, MacBaren HH Latakia Flake, HH Bold Kentucky, HH Old Dark Fired, Samuel Gawith Bothy Flake.
My 2 cents.

Welcome! That is a nice cellar you've got there! Are the weights accurate? If so, what are your 8 almost 3lb containers of 965? Just curious. I am always looking for more efficient ways to cellar.
With regards to Dunhill, I agree with Unkle on Yacht and BB1938. Also, you can go Haddo's deep on the Flake. Having upwards of 40lb of something that is about to disappear can't be bad.
I find your comment interesting about your state, since I live in a very not conservative state and they are f'ing tobacco Nazi's. Can't even ship pipe tobacco here as it is a state felony. And the stuff you buy here is state taxed at 95% of MSRP.
Anyhoo, good luck and again, welcome!

Wyfbane, sorry if this is a dumb question but are you saying that you are not allowed to order tobacco from regular online retail sites?
If that is the case then it's a very strange law. How are you able to smoke a pipe?
Regards,
Jay.

Jay, absent a timely response from wyfbane, I believe, speculatively, that the state of Washington prohibits sending tobacco to individuals, but not licensed retailers. So B&M's are the only legal resource -- usually resulting in limited selection as well as unreasonable taxes.

Jay .. if you go (for instance) to Pipes and Cigars, there is a note that they can't ship to Washington State. It does seem rather draconian. Having said that, the poster has over 140 lb of tobacco which, I think, more than solves any problems.

Thanks for the comments and welcome wishes, all.
Wyfbane - Your situation in WA is exactly what worries me a bit. I live in Utah. With the majority LDS population who eschew alcohol, tobacco, coffee and tea, we have very little in the way of B&M, and what we do have stock a jar of 1Q and BCA or BLWB, and a tin or two of something common if you're really, really lucky. An internet sales ban at the state level would pretty much force me to get a PO Box in Wyoming, Idaho or Nevada, and become a tobacco smuggler. ;-). A federal ban would leave me to my cellar alone.
Good thought on Dunhill Flake. It will age well, and even if I don't smoke a lot of it, it would be good trade stock or resale later if it's legal at that point.
As to the MM965 containers, the site I was using to keep track of everything lumps all "containers" together - so a 10lb bulk container is 1 just like a 50g or 100g tin is 1 container. I haven't yet separated all the bulk 1lb and 5lb containers into smaller portions. I intend to use a combination of Mylar storage bags and mason jars. The tins I may group into Mylar bags too, just to be on the safe side.
I haven't decided whether to use oxygen absorbers or not, as the information on actual effects of aerobic vs anaerobic environments for long term tobacco storage seem largely based on assumption and anecdote.

That seems totally like restraint of trade, and I hope someone sues the shit out of Washington the State. They killed Kenny! Bastards!
Oh, BTW, I presume you can ship marijuana??

Sorry for not being here earlier. This was the last response I was using to procrastinate on finalizing my application to grad school. That is now submitted and I am here procrastinating on my Hamlet reflection (regarding the bedroom scene between Hamlet and Gertrude, if you are curious).
Jay, Cortez got it right. Cigars, oddly, CAN be sent, as they are not able to be bastardized by cigarette smokers as easily as pipe tobacco. Otherwise, only B&M's can get tobacco through the mail. This is classic protectionist market economics. State taxes at 95% of MSRP, then forces it's citizens to buy only from within the state. I mention the MSRP part because it matters. Sutliff retails at $10, even though we get them all day long online for $6. Therefore the state tax is $9.50, regardless of what the selling price is. It is ludicrous.
Yes I have done this explanation before, but it never gets old. Everyone should know this system exists here, so they can write their legislators to prevent it from happening in their state.
Luckily, I have moved to the border of WA/OR. I have a buddy in OR that is my dropzone for tobacco...
