Hello All,

Can a pipe have a bowl re-cut so it's easier to smoke? I have a Bribbia briar with a curious cone shaped interior bowl. This prevents it from smoking properly, or so I speculate. If so, where can I have this done? Thanks! Oh, also I needed to know how I can post a photo?

All things are possible. Not all things are wise, inexpensive, and successful.

I "trimmed" my other corncob almost in half. I use it as one of those "10 minute" type of pipe. I used a Dremmel type of tool though... it didn't come out that even. A briar is a lot harder, but like the above said "all is possible" .... :)

If the shape of the bowl is a dublin then a tapered bowl is usually typical of that shape. Not sure where/how you'd get rid of that.
Posting photos on the other hand... I recommend using a image hosting site like photobucket or imageshack. They usually have image codes you can copy and paste into a thread.

Yes, this is probably a typical newcomer mistake. However, one would think the pipe seller would have mentioned it was a Dublin in their description. I'm selling this pipe on auction. Besides, I now have two lovely Petersons, a La Rocca pocket pipe that is startling in its quality, and of course my princess, the 1962 Dunhill.
