My goodness!! I am just a super wuss today! I could almost cut and paste my review of the HH Dark Kentucky and slap it right here. This stuff says on the tin that it is for gentlemen only, yeah right...Gentlemen with an iron constitution!! This blend smoked a little bitey at first but settled down quickly. Stirling is loaded with Vit. N...in fact after 10 minutes of sipping this I not only felt nauseated but started hiccupping...and there was the big ol' stop sign for me. Wow, again!! All these strong flakes abound. Good volume of smoke on this one too...nice. This is not sweet one bit though, as the Dark Kentucky has as an undercurrent. This tin is staring at me now saying "I told you not to F*** with me!!" I'm bowing my head and averting my eyes...now I have two flakes which whopped my butt today!! LOL, Another great flake for those who like strong (insert Darin's name here)flakes. Oh and Darin if you would like these two mostly filled tins let me know, I would have to ask for postage but these two would be yours as well as a couple other tins. Hat AND tie off to Rattray for making their strongest flake yet...lol...all I can say in the end is yet again one more WOW! Thank goodness I have my considerably less stronger Marlin Flake to help soothe the bruises from today's adventure! :P

Thanks for the review. (or is it a warning?) Just purchased a couple of tins of this flake. Now i have something to look forward to. I enjoy the not so subtle nic slap every now and again. :puffy:

Thanks for the review Geoffry. I always like to get blends on my "don't try list" as my want to try list is so long. I have read somewhere that a lot of the Peterson blends are now sold as Rattrays. Red Lion is meant to be the same as Old Dublin but I am yet to try it. One good thing is that Rattrays sell then in 100g tins while peterson only has them in 50g.

You guys are quite welcome! Thanks for reading. :)
This stuff is strong, but if you like that then this would be a good blend to knock you around a little...you masochists!! :P
