Shortened title. Original: "Caminetto Ascorti Radice Excellence Flame Golden Mustache AR Stamped Pipe"

Yes, it is mouthful and imho a stunning beauty .
I purchased it from a very trustworthy estate pipe seller I'm on good terms with.
Not much is to be found regarding AR pipe grading . Or is there, apart from the "usual suspects " ?

Early Caminettos were distinguished by the thin gold mustache designation, but apparently the earliest also would sport the "Ascorti- Radice" stamping. I have not seen one with the script "AR" stamp, although a number of them have a Tinderbox shield logo. I have also seen some super high-end pipes with lighter stains and dazzling grain that were called "Super Mustache" but not an "Excellence Flame". Nice looking pipe!
