The original Trek cast were like family to me as I watched their episodes from early childhood and have met many of them. Nichelle Nichols leaves us at 89.

She was my favorite of the pantless Star Trek girls.

First inter-racial kiss on TV I believe. I loved that series as a child and I still watch the reruns today. RIP
The special effects on Star Trek were quite minimal, just enough to let the viewer's imagination do the work, which was effective. The Lt. was one of those people who kept her appearance on into senior years. RIP.
She was great in the tv shows and movies and was a pioneer for black women in the industry. RIP

nope but I think the first one was on a drama in a different time slot. It's still ground breaking and still showed that producers have always tried to cater to not pissing off anybody even when no one should care. Kind of like showing a toilet or Lucy saying she was pregnant most of the audience didn't care but the producers where afraid of the ten people that would write in.
o.k. it was British t.v. and there where a few European with Asian kisses. So depends on how you want to slice it.
The James Bond movie ? Live & Let Die was banned in apartheid Africa as Bond kisses an Afro-Caribbean woman.
