She most absolutely was. My friend Tom Sawyer, who was the showrunner for and wrote several episodes of Murder, She Wrote, always praises her for being easy to work with, and for being loved by everybody who worked on that show.
I was about to say she seems like one of those rare people where, if someone had a problem with her it was because they're the problem. Just how it seemed to me. Never heard one bad thing about her.

Consummate actress! No discussion about that. She was delightful in "Murder She Wrote". RIP indeed!
I already said it but will say it again. When someone has a career that long and you don't hear any dirt even a little bit, that person is probably a pretty decent person. Not even one story about being rude to a fan or caterer. It kind of says even on their bad days they're still nice. I think that show would have been nothing with out her.

We've lost so many good ones lately. First the Queen. Then Loretta. Now Angela Lansbury. Seems like they just don't make ladies quite like these any more.

RIP Angela. May you sing with the angels.
