Quilting Show

A couple months ago I enjoyed going to the Chicago Pipe Show. Now my wife wants to go to a weekend quilting show this weekend. I guess I can't complain. I hope they don't have a quilting tent set up outside for all these women to sit around sewing. I insisted that she not take the grocery money with her.
This is one more small sacrifice to keep peace in the family and to go to the next pipe show!

i was wondering why there was a Quilting thread on a pipe forum

but now i know its the old goose and gander story. I can feel your pain but just think how she felt at your show. Grin and bear it and besides i am sure in the winter time you can apreciate her quilts

Fake a limp and retire to a bar that allows smoking. Quiliting Show? This is not about evening the score, its about punishing you so you think twice about the next pipe show. I have to admit that ist is a novel approach. When my wife wants to get back at me it usually means going to the Coach store or a drive to NJ to visit her family.

Who said I went? I stayed home trying to fix the van. I let her enjoy her hobbies and she lets me enjoy my hobbies.
FYI, When I came home from the first night of the pipe show, I said, "look, I only spent half my budget. Now look at how much tobacco I brought home." I finished the show with enough money left to buy a zippo lighter.

HAHA My wife won't even go with me to the B&M. we do the same she does her thing i do mine. Don't get me wrong we still do lots together and with the kids but sometimes we need some down time away from each other. i found that It keeps us from fighting.
