Question about SPC Plum Pudding

Forgive my ignorance... I am still fairly new here...
I ordered a 2 ounce tin of Seattle Pipe Club's Plum Pudding...
I opened it and the tin is about 1/3 full of loose tobacco and there is a rather large dense brick of tobacco sitting in it... like an easter egg in that easter hay...
Is this how it is supposed to be?

If so, anything I should know about mixing this brick together with the rest of the blend?

Take a look at tobaccoreviews.com. It is described in some of the reviews as a "krumble Kake". Just rub a little out with your fingers to the consistancy you like and enjoy. By the way, I have never bought any, just looked it up on the review site. Enjoy!
