So huge VA/VaPers fan in general and i get all of the aging benefits with Virginia blends, but what about something like Presbyterian, by far my favorite non VA/VaPer blend, any insight how aging affects this blend? I know it’s all subjective and ymmv but there must be some general attributes and insights. Thanks!

I have about 25 tins squirreled away as it's one of my favorites as well. Like other blends with Latakia, it certainly doesn't benefit from extended aging. Due to the small amount of Latakia, it doesn't feel the adverse effects quite as vividly as other "English" blends but it does experience some fade. I find the Orientals become a bit more prominent and the entire thing becomes a fine breakfast blend, albeit perhaps a bit on the light side for many folks. This is based on smoking it around the 10 year mark, stored in original tins in a cool(-ish) basement in tubs.

Thank you appreciate a straight forward and experienced opinion, i actually love it fresh so i won’t bother going too deep on it and will just keep enjoying it as i go.
