Is RLP-6 CBW without the humectants and all the other things that burn the hell out of your tongue?
Yeah, its basically the better version of the Captain Black White. Not to say that CBW is bad, just, there's a better version out there somewhere.

I really hate to say this but in my opinion, RLP-6 is the Lane Limited Bulk code for Captain Black White and 1Q is the bulk code for Captain Black Royal.
Again, totally my opinion only, but I think the reason why most people think they taste similar, but the bulk tastes better is because the bulk they order is almost always fresher.
I've had both and to be honest I can't tell a lick of difference between CBW and RLP-6 or CBR and 1Q.

If it is the same or close to Captain Black is the price for bulk RLP-6 lower than CB?

RLP-6 and 1Q are both cheaper per ounce than Captain Black in either pouch or bulk form.

In my opinion, RLP 6 burns much better, packs better, is cut better, has a little different aroma, and has a little less harsh taste. I still like Captain Black, but RLP 6 is definitely a good choice for a mild smoke that the wife wont kick you out of the room for (which is always an issue in my case).
