I've looked and can't find an answer so here goes. Do any of you guys/ladies who practice DGT live in a desert climate? I see many of you talking about taking up to hours for a tobacco to dry out and also talking about practicing DGT. Now the humidity right now where I am is recorded as 13% and that means that if I lay out a bowl or two of anything but my wettest aromatic it will be crispy dry in an hour or less. I have also had very little success with DGT as it feels way too dry, and therefore too hot, when I light it. Do I need to try it again or will living in the high desert pretty much rule it out in your opinion?

I was in SIerra Vista, AZ for a few weeks last year. Fort Huachuca. Very low humidity there most of the time. My leather pouch full FMC got pretty crispy all on its on. Can't imagine what it would have been like if I had tried to dry it even a little. Not a problem down here on the Gulf of Mexico. Other extreme most of the year.
