Queensbury Cigar and Pipes - No Longer Cup Of Joes

Had the chance to visit Queensbury Cigar and Pipes recently. Hadn’t been there in a long time. I had known that Cup of Joes was bought by Sutliff and this had long been the B&M location. In the past it was well stocked with pipes and tobacco and I was looking forward to seeing the selection. Sadly the online portion of the business was sold and the B&M is now separate. For pipesters, this is not a good change if you’re looking for a B&M to visit. A few tins (Peterson and Sutliff, a couple of OTC blends). A good selection of Sutliff bulk, a meager pipe selection but that did include Bones, Peterson, Briarworks, Savinelli, Dunhill and some cobs. Barely any accessories. Sigh. They said stock was kind of low since it’s the end of the summer. For someone looking for a lounge or cigars, the place is great. Nice space. I picked up an ounce of Sutliff VA Slices since I hadn’t tried that before. Smoking it now. Worth stopping in if you’re in the area but it’s not a Mecca. Hopefully they’ll have some more selection in the future.
