Queen is happy with this new gorgeous Castello pipe! Also met up for a smoke with fellow pipe magazine member @bassbug who also lives in Toronto! We had a good smoke and good laugh at the park...

I love this pipe. There's a little story provided inside the box. It says that it was created similar to landscapes, how they originated from the variable depth of coloring resulting from the impregnation and transformation, by wet way, of the iron compounds included in the limestone. The characteristic brush patterns are caused by infiltrations of manganese oxide. Age: About 50 million years. Origin: M. Apennines - Italy.

? I do have more plain bland pipes but they're still very nice. Now I'm getting into more interesting and detailed pipes, lots of character in them, some vintages ones, I am really trying to get a good variety because I'm growing my collection and I don't want them to all be the same... I haven't counted lately but so far I think I have approximately 80 to 90 pipes already. And yes it's great to meet in person with other fellow pipe smokers from this group! I don't really know anyone here in my city who smokes pipes so I'm glad now I do! And yes we had a very nice time smoking

Yes I am actually not only a pipe collector but also a tie collector. I have over 100 ties in my closet. I love to wear them. All colors, I make a mean double Windsor knot if I do say so myself! ? Yes @bassbug needs to wear his tie too next we smoke again!
