This is a quote from an email I received from my B&M the Milan Tobacconist in Roanoke, Virginia.

While we're on the topic of scary, the U.S. Customs and Border Protection Agency is refusing to ship our international customer orders stating that they contain "prohibited content," which they clearly do not. Unfortunately, we are unable to accept international orders until this issue is resolved.

The Feds playing games or is the noose drawing tighter?

Did you really expect one of the forum members to have an actual answer? Maybe one of them works for the Feds or Customs? Or, I guess we can just wildly conjecture?

I propose that it is the oceans that are sick and tired of tobacco crossing over it, over and over again. It is a well known fact that water hates fire, and vica versa. puffy

I could say that I agree with Cosmic.

Instead, I'm going to put a lot of other random words together, like him, add some emojis, ? and then babble on and on, saying more words.

Then ill start a new sentence, with different words, use some color, and then a little italics (in bold by the way) to make you really see the words. Then by the time you finished reading this, you will have no more information than when you started.

Which is what would happen if I actually knew anything about the goings on with the tobacco industry. Which I don't.
I just hope that's not all true, and the industry is booming.

You should run for office.

The health issues around tobacco have led to a folklore idea that tobacco is a prohibited substance. I've had postal clerks confer with the station postmaster/mistress to see if tobacco could be mailed, and it can. But the opposite myth persists.

Yes, it is affecting us. We can bury our heads in the sand and say, "It's all about those other guys that have nothing to do with real pipe smoking, but it is on our doorstep, knocking and saying, "It's just a small change."

Um, since when does CBP do shipping? No wonder your tobacconist can't figure out how to make money on intl orders. The big vendors like SPC, 4noggins, P&C, etc. must have a lockdown on the big secret that you take your packages to the post office, not the border detention center.
