Purchased My First Estate Lot

I have bought estate pipes before but this is the first time buying a “lot”. It came with these pipes and a set of reamers. My first project is to clean them up. Payed $85. I’ll post pictures as I get them cleaned. I feel good about the price. You guys already helped me with my questions on stingers and tooth marks. Than you!! I don’t know much about the Weber or the Don Regular.
Pipes are Savinelli nonpareil 9121, KW Red Root, KW Singet (no numbers that I can find), Weber Deep Grain, Don Regular (no other markings) and a Hardcastle Special Selection (not pictured).

Great buy. The Weber gold band deep grain was near the top of the line. I have several but none came with the stinger. Be careful of the logo when cleaning the original stem.

This is the Savinelli. It had a loose tenon but was able to fix that with a bit of heat. There are a few tooth marks that heat was not able to remove so I may use CA.

Nice snag! CA is at best a temporary fix for a tooth depression, over the long haul they just fall out.

I don't know much about them. But I do know that it perplexes me why there isn't more of a money demand for older webers. I think they're really sweet looking pipes.

That Weber will make your cost of admission worth it. Of pipes I've thrown away over the years, none have been a Weber.

That’s not something I’ve tried. Maybe one day when I retire I’ll need a hobby. Good luck getting them up to snuff!

There are a few tooth marks that heat was not able to remove so I may use CA.

Try the finest side of a manicure block. Sometimes the heat generated from buffing with one can lift chatter.
