I would like to order a pub pipe from Peterson. But how do you relight when you have smoked 2/3 of the bowl. I use a pipe zippo but will the flame reach the tobacco?

You see.. You have to have your Zippo lighter fairies for House/Pub Pipes. Close your eyes tight and wish your Zippo to shrink to fit the chamber! Or just position your Zippo about 1/4" (0.7 mm) above chamber opening and gently draw in, another kinda magic.

yes not an issue. Once the tobacco is burnt already and needs a relight the flame will combust it from even further away. You don't need the flame actually touching the tobacco at all and will have a tastier cooler smoke if you don't pull the flame down in (for me I don't belabor the point, I try to keep flame from touching but it's cool if it does.) Also if the flame is not getting the job done you can pull the wick out a little bit as that's the way to control the size of the flame with a zippo.

I use Zippos mostly, and no problem with relights at end of a bowl. You don't need to see the flame hit the tobacco to provide enough energy (heat) to relight tobacco. I do use a pipe insert to protect the opposite side of my bowl.

I own several Pub and House pipes. I use either a Zippo or Bic and don’t have problems lighting a deep bowl.

Draw the flame down to the tobacco by puffing.

Practice is what it takes, Rome wasn’t built in a day.

I urge you to be extremely less invasive with the flame.

Can you use a elongated bbq lighter, a flame thrower or Napalm (which sticks to kids), of course, should you, well no.

But they aren’t my pipes. Do as you will.

I find a zippo to be less than ideal in re-lighting deep bowled pipes. Instead, use a match, hemp wick, Bic EZ light, or a refillable butane pipe lighter, e.g., Old Boy.

Novice tip - if you are are concerned about it to the point of trying to forcefully inhale while lighting and get a mouthful of ash you've now learned the hard way it's likely an issue unrelated to the lighter. No problems with Zippo for pub pipe here (well only that one time at pipe camp) but "once bitten, twice shy", lol, and I now use a Peterson or Old Boy with the pub pipe I have, or a wooden match.
